Biography
Mr. Wagstaff has worked in higher education for over thirty years, serving in Universities, Colleges and Community Colleges throughout the country. He moved to California in 1992 to be the Director of Media, Learning and Information Resources at Peralta Community College District. In 1996 he was appointed to be the District’s Director of Information Technology, Management Information Systems. Since then, Mr. Wagstaff has served as the lead administrator on all matters related to Information Technology including Enterprise Resource Planning systems, technology planning, library automation and operations, telecourse and online distance learning, and state and local data/telephony network planning and implementation. He is an elected member of the California Community Colleges Chief Information Systems Officers Association. Mr. Wagstaff also serves on two California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office committees; the Telecommunication Technology Advisory Committee and the System-wide Architecture Committee.
